The history of Cooper tyre & Rubber Company began in 1914, when two brothers purchased the M & M Company located in Akron (Ohio, USA) and started to produce raw material for the tyre manufacture and repair kits. Today, Cooper tyre is independent, the eighth largest tyre manufacturer in the world. Cooper owns 60 factories in 13 countries, with more than 20,000 employees. The company also owns Avon tyres, Dean tyres, Kenda tyres, Mastercraft tyres, Starfire tyres, Oliver tyres, Mickey Thompson, Roadmaster, DickCepek, Dominator, Austone, Chengshan.
